Launched in 1995 under the name “Chouchou”, which means “favorite” in French, it was created out of the need to have a bag with striking features and an incomparable Dior identity. Speedy – Louis Vuitton The Speedy is one of the French maison's best-known and most successful models. Launched in 1930, it was, in fact, the brand's first bag intended for daily use. The model is inspired by the famous Keepall hand luggage , and was initially created only in size 30 and named “Express”, as a tribute to the revolutionary period of the way of traveling.



A smaller size of it was released in 1959 to fulfill a special request from iconic actress Audrey Hepburn , who wanted a smaller version of the Keepall suitcase. The brand fulfilled Hepburn's request and created the Speedy 25 model, becoming the brand's iconic model. 57 years later, in 2016, the model already had five different sizes and was one of the brand's most successful bags. Currently, Speedy is available in the following sizes: Nano, 20, 25, 30, 35 and 40 and is available in different materials (canvas being the most successful) and colors.
